The service

These terms govern the use of Kai TasteMap, operated by Mauricio Zúñiga Cuéllar, a natural person, Colombian tax ID (NIT) 94.060.281-1, domiciled at Calle 3D # 66 - 47, Cali, Colombia. Contact: tastemap@kaistrategylab.com.

By creating an account you accept these terms. The contract is entered into with the owner indicated above and is governed by Colombian law.

Account

You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens with your account. You must be of legal age or have authorization from your parents or guardians.

Some features (artificial intelligence and payments) require verifying your email.

Plans and prices

Free plan: US$ 0 — unlimited manual logging, full history and 500 KaiCoins per month.

Catador plan: US$ 4.99 per month or US$ 49.90 per year — 5,000 KaiCoins per month.

Maestro plan: US$ 9.99 per month or US$ 99.90 per year — 12,000 KaiCoins per month, API/MCP keys and early access to new verticals.

KaiCoin packs (they never expire; the Kai family's shared catalog): 500 for US$ 1.99, 2,000 for US$ 4.99, 6,000 for US$ 10.99 and 12,000 for US$ 18.99.

Choosing the monthly or the annual cycle is, in both cases, subscribing to automatic card billing that renews at the end of each period unless you cancel. We also offer one-time payment (no automatic renewal) through local methods such as PSE, Nequi or cash.

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and may change in the future; a price change never affects a period you already paid for.

KaiCoins

Artificial intelligence features are measured in KaiCoins, the Kai family's common currency: packs have the same amount and the same price across every Kai product (for example, 2,000 KaiCoins cost US$ 4.99). Every action shows its cost before running.

The plan's monthly KaiCoin quota resets every month and does not accumulate. KaiCoins purchased in packs never expire. If an AI action fails, its KaiCoins are refunded automatically.

KaiCoins are not money, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Nature of the AI

Several features use artificial intelligence models to extract data from your photos, structure your impressions and generate recommendations. Their results are indicative, may contain inaccuracies, and you always have the last word: you confirm the card before saving it and you decide what to do with each recommendation.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to breach security, automate abusively outside the official channels (API/MCP with your key), resell access, or upload illegal or third-party content without permission. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, with prior notice when reasonable.

Guarantee and statutory withdrawal: two different rights

We offer a commercial satisfaction guarantee of 7 calendar days from your first payment: if the service is not what you expected, we refund that payment. It is our own guarantee, applies once per customer, and we may reject it only with reasonable evidence of fraud or abuse — this affects only that guarantee, which is ours: the statutory withdrawal right comes from the law and does not depend on our judgment.

In addition, as a consumer you have the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase under article 47 of Colombia's Ley 1480 of 2011: 5 business days from the purchase, provided the paid service has not started to be provided, applicable on each sale. Neither right replaces the other: you may rely on whichever applies to your case. Operational details are on the refunds page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the owner's total liability towards a customer is limited to the amount actually paid by that customer in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to it. We are not liable for indirect damages nor for purchase or consumption decisions made based on the service's results.

Termination

You can cancel anytime; there is no lock-in. When your paid plan expires, your account moves to the Free plan after a 5-day grace period, without deleting your data. You can request deletion of your account and data by writing to tastemap@kaistrategylab.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia and any dispute will be resolved before Colombian courts. Questions: tastemap@kaistrategylab.com.
