What exactly is Kai TasteMap?
An intelligent taste memory. You log the coffee, wine or beer you taste, AI structures it, learns your palate and helps you decide: what to buy, what to order, what to repeat and what to avoid. It's not a social network or a review catalog.
How do I start, and what happens after the click?
You create your Cuenta Kai in a minute (the same account works across the whole Kai family), no card needed, and you land in Log: your first coffee, wine or beer is saved in about 20 seconds. The Free plan comes with 300 KaiCoins a month to try all the AI.
Is it for me if I only drink wine, or only beer?
Yes. Coffee, wine and craft beer are full verticals, each with its own card and axes (beer with style, ABV and carbonation; wine with grape and vintage). Hide the ones you don't use and your map shows only what's yours. Tea and more will come later.
How is it different from notes on my phone?
Phone notes die where you wrote them. Here every record becomes comparable data (sensory axes, notes, context) that feeds your taste map, your recommendations and your natural search. A notebook stores; TasteMap understands and recommends.
How is it different from Vivino, Untappd or coffee apps?
Vivino and Untappd give you the crowd's average and a social feed; technical coffee apps ask for 30 fields per cup. TasteMap bets on the opposite: 20-second capture and recommendations based on YOUR history, not strangers' stars.
Do I need to know how to taste?
No, and that's the point. You write “tasted like red fruit with a weird bitter finish” and AI translates it into a structured profile. You pick up vocabulary along the way, with nobody making you feel bad for not being a sommelier. If you're a professional taster needing full protocol, TasteMap will feel small: it's built for enthusiasts.
How long does logging something take?
About 20 seconds with a photo: scan, confirm, say how it was, rate it. By hand it's no endless form either: just the name already counts as a record.
Do I need lots of records before it's useful?
No. Memory and search work from your very first record. Your palate map is computed from 3 impressions per vertical and states its confidence: with little data it tells you so, instead of faking certainty.
What if the local beer or wine isn't in any catalog?
There's no catalog to look up: AI reads the label in the photo (brewery, style and ABV; winery, grape and vintage) and you confirm. A neighborhood brewery with zero reviews online gets in just like a global brand. If you keep the photo, the label is your visual memory for finding it again.
What's free and what's paid?
Free forever: manual logging, your full history, the list, the filters and the “want to try” list. AI (scanning, translating impressions, your palate map, deciding, natural-language search, dictating and listening) is measured in KaiCoins: the Free plan includes 300 a month and paid plans bring more.
What can I do with the Free plan each month?
5 full captures (scan plus sensory translation), one palate map and two natural searches. Manual logging, viewing your history and filtering never cost anything. If one month you need more, a KaiCoins pack that never expires gets you there without subscribing.
What are KaiCoins?
The Kai family's AI currency, with a shared pack catalog: the same amount costs the same in any Kai product (2,000 KaiCoins = US$ 4.99, for example). Every action shows its cost before running (a scan costs 24) and if an action fails, it refunds itself. Purchased packs never expire.
What happens if I run out of KaiCoins mid-month?
Nothing gets deleted and nothing free gets locked: you keep logging by hand, viewing your history and filtering. For AI you can wait for next month's quota, buy a pack (it never expires and lives apart from the quota) or upgrade your plan.
What about my photos and data?
The photo is used to extract the data and, by default, is not stored. If you choose to keep it, it's saved with your card so you recognize the product later, and you can delete it whenever you want. Your records are yours: no social feed, your data is never sold, and you can request account deletion anytime. Full details in the privacy policy.
What if the AI misreads the label?
You always confirm the card before saving, and everything is editable later. AI saves you the typing; the last word is yours.
If I stop paying, do I lose my memory?
No. Your full history is kept on the Free plan; only the monthly KaiCoins quota shrinks. Your memory is yours: that's the deal.
How do I pay and how do I cancel?
